Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Investigator (PI) in either General Medicine or Internal Medicine to lead clinical research studies. In this role, the PI will oversee the design, implementation, and management of research projects focused on medical interventions, disease outcomes, and patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical research, a strong background in either General Medicine or Internal Medicine, and proven leadership in managing research teams and ensuring the integrity of studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage clinical research studies in General Medicine or Internal Medicine, focusing on interventions, treatments, or patient outcomes.
- Supervise, mentor, and train research staff, ensuring adherence to study protocols and maintaining high-quality data collection.
- Ensure all research activities meet safety, ethical, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with institutional review boards (IRBs), regulatory bodies, and funding agencies to ensure adherence to guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (M.D. or equivalent) in General Medicine or Internal Medicine from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in General Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABIM or equivalent).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical research, with a focus on internal or general medicine.
- Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, research methodologies, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership in managing clinical research projects and interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
