RN/LPN Clinical Supervisor - FT Exempt

The Assisted Living RN Clinical Supervisor or LPN Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision of nursing care in Assisted Living.

• Supervises direct nursing care in Assisted Living.

• Administers direct nursing care when more than routine care is indicated.

• Makes routine rounds to assure proper care and a safe, clean resident environment.

• Assures accuracy and completeness of medical records. Audit MAR’s/TAR’s for discrepancies.

• Participates in staffing, scheduling, counseling, orientation, and evaluation of nursing team. Provide training as required.

• Assists with orientation of nursing personnel.

• Participates in family/resident counseling as needed.

• Responds to emergency calls as necessary.

• Assures effective communication with other shifts and departments as it relates to resident care.

• Complete medication pass audits each month for Quality Assurance and Improvement Performance.

• Ensure all new admission assessments and initial care plans are complete and accurate within 24 hours (RN must sign off on admission assessments and initial care plan within 24 hrs.).

• Complete Licensed Health Professional Support (RN) documentation for each resident.

• Assists Assisted Living Administrator in developing and implementing policies and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned.

8a-5p Monday - Friday. Some additional hours may be required to meet the business demands of the position. Also, on call status responsibilities.
