A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
As an auto mechanic on our team, you are extremely important to our success as you ensure properly functioning vehicles and equipment. On a day-to-day basis, you conduct routine maintenance, diagnose problems with inspection software, perform repairs, and work on transmissions. Additionally, you disassemble and reassemble parts as well as keep logs of all the work that's performed. You also examine vehicles to determine if additional safety work is needed and notify the service advisor. As a diligent worker, you follow checklists and the proper safety procedures. You enjoy working on new things each day and making our customers feel safe and happy in their ride!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
- 2-3 years of verifiable Automotive Tech experience
- Clean driver's license
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 75 pounds
- Ability to work in different weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Basic computer skills
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification, experience as an auto technician, and knowledge about transmissions are a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right person! Do you have solid written and verbal communication skills? Are you detail-oriented? Can you explain mechanical information clearly and in layman's terms? WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN EXPERIENCED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN
This full-time position typically works Monday - Friday, from 8 am - 5 pm. No weekends!
