Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all employees and visitors. This position requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
This position is for Monday through Friday 8:30 PM to 11 PM
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as wash floors with auto scrubber.
- Carry out custodial duties including trash removal and recycling management.
- Participate in facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or repairs needed to management.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is properly maintained.
Skills
- Strong ability to maintain cleanliness in various environments including industrial, commercial, settings.
- Experience in floor care
- Knowledge of custodial practices .
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to effectively report issues or collaborate with team members.
