Overview
To clean guest rooms and suites to ensure highest standards of cleanliness and service. Providing our guest with clean, home-away-from-home experience while staying with us.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use on cleaning agents.
● Ongoing housekeeping training
● Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies
● Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, counter tops and sinks
● Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, hotel literature, and bathroom items.
● Making beds and changing linens
● Keep storage areas well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
● Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
● Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room
● Emptying of all trash within room
● Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
● Provide professional, pleasant customer service at all times.
● Work with other internal departments to guarantee guest comfort and satisfaction.
● Ensure quality of cleaning is to the highest standards and Avra Standards
● Check rooms for lost items and process lost item through lost and found.
● Notify supervisor of needed maintenance.
● Communicate with supervisor, room status, guest compliments, complaint and/or concerns.
● Apply cleaning solvents
● Responsible for cleaning public areas
● Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on regular basis. Must be able to work weekends and Holidays

Qualifications
● Professional in appearance and demeanor
● Customer Service
● Previous cleaning experience preferred
● Ability to work with cleaning chemicals
● Able to work flexible shifts
● Must be able to push, pull and lift 30lbs
● Bending, reaching, kneeling/crawling at a low level.

Hours necessary to perform at the required level are typically 20-30 for part time and 30-40 for full time weekly varying days Monday – Sunday
