JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing accurate, up-to-date financial information about a business. They're always taking the pulse of a business. They are responsible for recording and maintaining a business financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, and payments. They will record financial data into general ledgers, which are used to produce the balance sheet and income statement.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records and retention of reports.
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy, use 3-way match verification, and invoice entry to software,
- Facilitate vendor payments including obtaining w9 information,
- Reviewing Purchase Orders, preparing tax exemption certificates, andresolving discrepancies.
- Maintain and monitor accounts payable
- Review reconcile expense reports
