Cromwell Architects Engineers has an opening for a Structural Engineer with 8 years' experience in structural engineering design of military projects from initial concept through construction documents, as well as interest in business development. MSCE or equivalent preferred. Experience with RISA and Revit is preferred.
BSCE or equivalent and PE required.
What To Expect
The Structural Engineer will work with architects, other engineers, clients, and contractors, to design new structural framing and foundations for architectural and industrial facilities and assess existing buildings and design modification of existing structures.

What To Expect
The Structural Engineer will work with architects, other engineers, clients, and contractors, to design new structural framing and foundations for architectural and industrial facilities and assess existing buildings and design modification of existing structures.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Structural Analysis and Design
- Work with REVIT technicians to develop structural plans and details.
- Edit structural specifications.
- Review contractor shop drawings and other submittals
- Travel (as required) - not extensively, but there will be occasional trips in state, across the country, and more rarely internationally.
- Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure
- 8 years of industry experience in the following
- Design of military projects from initial concept through construction documents
- Assessments of existing buildings
- Design modification to existing buildings.
