What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Technician / Used Vehicle Technician position at Cronic Nissan?
Our company is looking for Automotive Technicians to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications;
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
- Keep shop area neat and clean;
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts;
- Inspect vehicle fluid levels and replace or replenish as necessary;
- Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner;
- Check tire pressure and add air if needed;
- Perform Multi-Point inspections on pre-owned vehicles;
- Recondition as per used car managers authorization;
- Maintain accountability for all dealership-owned tools and manuals;
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are well-informed of any additional services needed;
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs;
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.

- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve;
- Basic Computer skills;
- Entry-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair preferred;
- Must have Tools to perform repairs on vehicles (Manufacturer specific are provided at location)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
