What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Technician position at Cronin Auto Family of Dealerships?
The Wreck Center at Perrysburg Automall is one of Northwest Ohio’s Largest Body Shops and is part of the Cronin Auto Family of Dealerships. A new, forward looking management team is looking to grow The Wreck Center by adding body shop technicians and apprentices. The Body Shop Technician is responsible for repairing all assigned vehicles in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Job responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Repair, replace, and upgrade a variety of vehicle parts
- Perform diagnostic tests to ensure that all issues have been detected and resolved before returning the car to the customer
- Follow all workplace safety requirements
- Prepare cars to be painted by sanding and refinishing them
- Is a team player, communicating with body shop manager, parts and others as needed.
- Communication with estimators is key to success
- Previous experience as an auto body technician is strongly preferred
- Ability to utilize a wide variety of car maintenance and repair tools
- I-CAR Certification preferred.
- Clean Driving record with a valid drivers license.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
