Overview
We are seeking a FULL TIME, permanent, office based highly skilled Inventory and Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in MS Excel, extensive experience in inventory management, and a strong background in warehouse operations. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and effective supply chain processes, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting overall operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Conduct regular inventory calculations and forecasting.
- Develop and implement inventory control, inventory level procedures
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and plan optimal inventory level
- Supply Chain Coordination:
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Create purchase orders and collaborate with Vendors for fulfillment
- Coordinate logistics and transportation to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs.
- Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
- Coordination with Third Party Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee daily inventory, shipment, and fulfillment reports from third party warehouse
- Coordinate with warehouse for prompt sales order fulfillment
- Liaison for incoming fulfilment orders and outgoing orders to customers
- Handle paperwork required by third-party warehouse for inventory receiving, maintenance and outward shipping
- MS Excel Expertise:
- Utilize advanced Excel and other MS Office functions and tools to analyze and visualize inventory and supply chain data.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, and reports.
- If possible, automate data processing and reporting tasks using Excel macros and VBA.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain coordination, and warehouse operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical Industry
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and VBA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Additional Qualifications – desired but not mandatory:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, CSCP).
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
