CCPRD is a special district governed by an elected Board of Directors and supported through a property tax levy, grants and other local and state funds. CCPRD owns / manages thirteen parks including three campgrounds. We offer diverse recreation programs and classes for all ages and provide facilities for this purpose.
General Position Summary:
Performs customer service and administrative duties for the Crook County RV Park. This includes overseeing the daily function of the office, taking reservations, taking payments, and filling out daily reports.
Essential Functions/Major Duties:
- Greet guests, answer questions, and direct and ensure that they are in their appropriate space
- Register guests on an electronic registration system
- Collect cash, check and credit card payments for registration
- Collect payments for retail items sold at the RV Park
- Answer telephone and provide RV Park and area information to guests
- Reconcile payments to report at the end of day
- Keep the office clean
- Check out departing guests and solicit customer evaluations
- Fill out campground daily check sheets and turn into the main office
- Prepare reservation information that is given to the Park Hosts for the Crook County RV Park, Ochoco Lake Campground and Haystack Reservoir
- Coordinate with Park Hosts and ensure that communication is effective
- Perform campground checks daily to assure that park rules and policies are adhered to and verify that all guests and/or vehicles are registered
- Pick up litter in and around the park
- Weeding, and water flower beds and lawn around the RV Park office building
- Oversee and report any damage to park facilities, buildings, and equipment
- Clean RV Park restrooms when maintenance staff is unavailable
- Clean clubhouse and laundry room when maintenance staff is unavailable
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure that incidents, or accidents are reported and all forms are filled out completely and accurately at time of incident
- Participate in safety meetings
- Make suggestions on how to improve safety in the campground
- Create a written record of any incident involving property damage, injury, verbal dispute, suspicion of illegal activity and report it to the District office in a timely manner
- In cases of emergencies, contact the appropriate law enforcement agency and parks personnel. Remain onsite to assist with investigation and provide information
Job Scope:

Education and/or Experience:
- 2 years of general office experience including answering phones, greeting visitors, preparing bank deposits, preparing reports, file maintenance, general mailing practices
- High School Diploma or GED required
Job Conditions:
- Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor environment potentially in extreme weather conditions and involves significant time on your feet
- Periodic travel to meetings, conferences, and training may be required
- Evenings and weekends are required when schedule requires
- Occasional overtime may be required
