Delaney Farms is seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Manager to oversee our working farm's daily operations, sales efforts, and team leadership. This full-time role runs for nine months of the year and offers a rewarding opportunity to lead and grow within a dynamic agricultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day farm operations, including livestock care, maintenance schedules, and seasonal planning
· Oversee cattle and pig operations, ensuring health, nutrition, and production standards are met
· Maintain Farm Budget & Expenses
· Lead and manage farm staff, providing clear direction, motivation, and support
· Monitor and maintain farm equipment, structures, and supply inventory
· Develop and execute sales strategies for farm products and livestock
· Maintain records of livestock, sales, and operational data
· Ensure compliance with safety standards and agricultural regulations
· Management of pheasant farm and hunt club operations and scheduling
Qualifications
· Proven experience in farm management or agricultural operations
· Strong knowledge of cattle, pigs, crops, and general farm practices
· Sales experience with the ability to market and promote farm goods
· Excellent leadership and people management skills
· Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
· Reliable transportation and flexibility with seasonal demands
