Full Job Description
Crop Salon is a high-end inclusive salon in the heart of downtown Greensboro. We are looking for a motivated Guest Coordinator to manage our front desk on a daily basis and perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. As a Guest Coordinator, you will be the first and last point of contact for our company. Our guest coordinators offer administrative support across the organization. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business, coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and booking appointments while also tending to stylist needs. To be successful as a Guest Coordinator, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is a customer service role. You should be able to deal with exigencies in a timely and effective manner while streamlining salon operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Guest Coordinators’ duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the salon
- Direct clients to their appropriate stylist
- Answer, screen and make schedule for clients
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
- Unpacking product and keep inventory of stock
- Perform other clerical receptionist tasks assigned by Management.
- Update calendars and scheduling book and communicating with stylists about their appointment books
- Help Stylists with simple tasks (Setting Up stations, Cleaning the Area, sweeping, dishes, laundry etc.)
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in salon booking systems
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour
