About the Role:
Crosby Energy Services is currently seeking an experienced Lease Operator to join our team in Columbiana Ohio and New Castle PA and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures proper operation of production equipment including wells, compressors, and/or sales meters for gas & oil production by monitoring and adjusting equipment.
- Provides daily measurement of oil, gas & saltwater production.
- Change charts (where applicable) and keep written/electronic records of production.
- Notifies oil transporter and vacuum trucks to haul oil & saltwater as necessary.
- Performs preventive maintenance & maintain written records (where applicable) on pumping units, SED pumps, compressors, engines, and glycol units. Maintains & monitors chemical program.
- Identifies & researches warning signals, adjust controls, & troubleshoots & repairs equipment.
- Performs daily inspection of all pressure vessels, storage tanks, pumps, flow lines, and containment structures for mechanical integrity.
- Maintains well locations and surrounding grounds by cutting overgrowth & painting equipment to ensure accessibility, equipment performance & a safe & clean working environment.
- Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program & by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions & acts to Management.
- Gauge production on assigned wells and report gauge readings, downtime and other pertinent well information to district office.
- Perform lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash, etc.; grease pumping units, service lease equipment, etc. -Note problems and/or recommend course of actions to supervisor in order to decrease costs and increase production.
- Assist in witnessing meter calibrations; monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells; make necessary adjustments; monitor chemical use; and test safety systems daily to maximize daily production.
