What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Full Time Minibar Attendant at The Whitby Hotel position at Crosby Hotel LLC?
The Minibar Attendant is responsible for accurately stocking, reporting, itemizing, and cleaning the mini bars in guest rooms. The Minibar Attendant takes inventory and restocks guest room mini bars on a daily basis and processes the guests' charges for the items used.
MAIN DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Maintain the highest level of customer service and display professionalism at all times
- Ensure rotation of all mini-bar products
- Communicate effectively with management about any issues and/or concerns.
- Display appropriate telephone etiquette at all times
- Complete minibar responsibilities when necessary
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- To promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants
- Liaise with other departments to make sure the best service is provided to our guest
- To ensure all allergy procedures are followed at all times
- Exceptional upselling techniques
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge in food and beverage (wine and champagne knowledge is a plus)
- Must understand how to use POS programs such as Micros
- Must be open to working AM/PM shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Has a keen sense of attention to detail within your workspace
- Able to keep track of inventory and ordering
- Manual Handling
- To take personal responsibility for punctuality
