What are the responsibilities and job description for the Development Officer II position at Cross Catholic Outreach?
Aligned with the organization’s revenue generation and donor acquisition strategy, the Development Officer for the T1T2 Project is responsible for securing new donor opportunities in Tier 1 and Tier 2 parishes within targeted dioceses, meeting or exceeding established goals.
- Book Tier 1 and Tier 2 Outreach Priest (OP) speaking opportunities using a combination of strategies, including marketing support, direct solicitation through phone, and personal visits.
- Maintain a calling portfolio and meet monthly goals as assigned by the Manager.
- Assume full responsibility for parish mission initiatives during low-demand seasons.
- Research and identify prospective parishes and proactively initiate solicitations.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Assist management in developing fundraising goals and work to achieve and surpass these goals.
- Utilize professional writing and interpersonal skills to communicate with pastors, secretaries, and other organizational staff. Meet or exceed expected weekly and monthly activity levels (calls, asks, personal correspondence, etc.).
- Engage CCO Outreach Priests and other CCO staff, and cultivate relationships with host pastors to build a referral network.

Associate’s degree or commensurate experience.
