Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in a travel position. In this role, you will work in an operating room, cardiac cath lab, or similar healthcare facility, assisting physicians with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, and maintaining sterile conditions. You may also care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis, or biopsies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology, ARRT certification, and BLS certification (AHA). Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
