Job Description
As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for CT scans, operating CT equipment, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records. You may also use other imaging equipment such as X-ray and MRI.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining the procedure and positioning them correctly.
- Operate CT equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality images are obtained.
- Process images for radiologists and physicians, making sure they are available in a timely manner.
- Handle patient records, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
