Job Description:
As a cardiac cath lab technologist in interventional radiology, you'll assist the physician with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures. Working in an operating room, cardiac Cath lab or similar healthcare facility, you'll prepare equipment, assist surgeons, monitor patient vitals, help maintain sterile conditions and more.
You might care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis or biopsies. Our team is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join us on a travel assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures
- Prepare equipment and assist surgeons during procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and help maintain sterile conditions
- Care for patients undergoing various medical procedures
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in interventional radiology
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
