Job Description
An MRI technologist takes medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes using magnetic resonance imaging. Working in a hospital or other healthcare facility, the technologist prepares patients for MRIs, operates MRI technology, processes MRIs for radiologists and physicians, and handles patient records. Other radiologic equipment, such as CTs and X-rays, may also be used.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
