Job Description
An MRI Technologist is a vital member of the healthcare team, responsible for capturing high-quality medical images using magnetic resonance imaging technology. Working in various settings such as hospitals, outpatient centers, and imaging facilities, you will prepare patients for MRIs, operate equipment, process images, and manage patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures
- Operate MRI technology and other radiologic equipment
- Process and transmit MRI images to radiologists and physicians
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
