Job Title: MRI Technologist
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MRI technologist to join our team in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in this field and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
As an MRI technologist, you will take medical images of patients using magnetic resonance imaging technology. You will prepare patients for MRIs, operate MRI equipment, process images for radiologists and physicians, and handle patient records. You may also use other radiologic equipment such as CTs and X-rays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRIs by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate MRI technology, including scanners and computers, to produce high-quality images.
- Process MRIs for radiologists and physicians, including enhancing images, correcting errors, and communicating results.
- Handle patient records, including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and disinfecting MRI machines and ordering replacement parts.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an MRI technologist.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
