We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to join our team at a hospital in Juneau, Alaska. As an inpatient pharmacist, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, administering immunizations, and conducting wellness screenings.
Responsibilities:
- Dispensing medications and maintaining accurate records
- Administering immunizations and conducting wellness screenings
- Educating patients on medication use and side effects
- Working with insurance companies to process prescriptions
- Supervising pharmacy technicians and ensuring efficient workflow
- Staying up-to-date on the latest medical research and guidelines
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacist in an inpatient setting
- NAPB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
