About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced inpatient pharmacist to join our team on a travel assignment. As an inpatient pharmacist, you will play a critical role in advising patients and helping to keep them safe and well.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications and give immunizations
- Conduct wellness screenings
- Process and fill prescriptions
- Educate patients on medication use and management
- Work with insurance companies to ensure patient coverage
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and other support staff
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a pharmacist in an inpatient setting
- NAPB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
