Job Title: Travel Physical Therapist
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job.
Job Description
As an outpatient physical therapist, you'll provide PT services to help patients regain their health and mobility. You'll assess patients' mobility, strength and function, develop treatment plans, maintain records and provide patient education.
Responsibilities:
- Avoid assisting patients with regaining their health and mobility by providing them with innovative treatments such as exercises, devices and more.
- Assess patients in various conditions or functionalities that may be the cause of reduced functionality of the body.
- Developing a plan for your patients which will work best for them and addressing any issue related to rehabilitation of the individual.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions with patients and ensure to communicate effectively throughout all phases of therapy.
- Conducting workshops on prevention, injury recognition, proper training, cross-training, risk management, stress reduction, workers compensation laws, athletic performance enhancement, motivation, team building, communication skills, substance abuse awareness, accountability, technology integration and cardiac rehabilitation.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient setting and specialty required.
Degree in relevant field required.
BLS Certification (AHA) required.
Current state/compact license required.
