Job Description:
As a cardiac cath lab technologist in interventional radiology, you will assist the physician with catheterization of the heart and other minimally invasive procedures. You will work in an operating room, cardiac Cath lab or similar healthcare facility. Your responsibilities will include preparing equipment, assisting surgeons, monitoring patient vitals, maintaining sterile conditions and more.
You may care for patients undergoing angioplasty, ablation, embolization, stenting, thrombolysis, or biopsies. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
