We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Winchester, Tennessee.
Job Description:
As a registered respiratory therapist, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with lung diseases and breathing disorders. Your responsibilities will include evaluating patients, managing equipment, and providing treatment in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, outpatient centers, home health, nursing facilities, private practices, or other medical facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients to determine the best course of treatment for their lung disease or breathing disorder.
- Manage and maintain respiratory equipment, such as ventilators and oxygen therapy devices.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on proper breathing techniques and disease management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certification.
- BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS Certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Current state license.
