Job Description
A registered respiratory therapist provides care for patients with lung diseases and breathing disorders in a hospital, outpatient center, home health, nursing facility, or private practice setting.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans
- Manage equipment and provide treatment to patients with cardiac and pulmonary diseases such as bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, and cystic fibrosis
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a registered respiratory therapist
- NBRC Certification
- BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS Certifications (AHA)
- Current state license
