About the Job
This is an inpatient position where you will work with patients who require speech therapy due to illness, injury, or disability. Your primary role will be to develop and implement treatment plans, recommend equipment, and monitor patient progress.
- Review medical histories and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implement speech therapy interventions to help patients regain independence and quality of life
- Monitor patient progress and make recommendations for further treatment as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a speech language pathologist in an inpatient setting
- Degree in relevant field (e.g., Speech-Language Pathology)
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license to practice as a speech language pathologist
