This opportunity requires at least 1 year of recent experience as an inpatient SLP, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. As an inpatient speech-language pathologist, you'll help patients overcome communication challenges, working closely with medical professionals to develop effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with swallowing, speaking, and understanding difficulties
- Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Recommend equipment and technologies to support patient rehabilitation
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
