As a home health speech-language pathologist, you will provide comprehensive therapy services to patients with swallowing, speaking, understanding, and other speech-related needs. You will work in patients' homes, nursing homes, or memory care facilities, reviewing medical histories, developing and implementing speech therapy treatment plans, recommending equipment, monitoring patient progress, and more.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a speech language pathologist in a home health setting
- Degree in relevant field
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
