We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Ravenna, Ohio.
Job Summary:
A CT Technologist is responsible for operating computerized tomography equipment to produce high-quality medical images for diagnostic purposes. This role involves preparing patients for CT scans, operating the CT machine, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety during the scan.
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Process images for radiologists and physicians, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history, test results, and follow-up instructions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
- ARRT Certification.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current state license (if applicable).
