Job Responsibilities
As a nuclear medicine technologist, you will work under the supervision of a physician at a hospital, physician's office, diagnostic lab or imaging center. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs, helping patients understand the procedure, prepping and delivering radioactive drugs, operating equipment, keeping records, and more.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
- ARRT/NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
