As an occupational therapist, you will work with individuals to help them acquire the skills needed for daily life activities. In this role, you will be working in a hospital, home health, nursing facility, rehab center, school, or healthcare environment. Your responsibilities will include reviewing medical histories, developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment plans, recommending equipment, and monitoring patient progress. You will play a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured, or disabled regain quality of life.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a relevant setting and specialty
- Degree in a relevant field
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license
