Key Responsibilities
As an inpatient physical therapist, you will provide hands-on treatment to help patients regain their health and mobility. Your work environment will be at a hospital, rehabilitation center, skilled nursing facility or other inpatient healthcare setting. You will assess patients' mobility, strength and function, develop personalized treatment plans, maintain accurate records, and educate patients on how to manage their condition. Your role will play a critical part in helping patients achieve strength, reduce pain, and improve functionality.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent acute care experience in an inpatient setting
- Degree in relevant field
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state/compact license
