Working in various healthcare facilities such as hospitals, outpatient centers, home health, nursing facilities, private practices, or other healthcare settings, you will evaluate patients, take samples, manage equipment, and provide treatment.
As a registered respiratory therapist, you will help patients with cardiac and pulmonary diseases such as bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, and cystic fibrosis. Your expertise will be crucial in managing patient airways, administering oxygen therapy, and conducting pulmonary function tests.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as a registered respiratory therapist
- NBRC Certification
- BLS, NRP, PALS, ACLS Certifications (AHA)
- Current state license
