We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ultrasound technologist to join our team for a travel assignment.
About the Job:
As an ultrasonographer, you will use advanced imaging technology to take medical images of patients for diagnostic purposes. You will work in a hospital, outpatient center, or other healthcare facility, preparing patients for ultrasound exams, operating equipment, processing images, and maintaining patient records.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for ultrasound exams, ensuring they understand the procedure and any necessary precautions
- Operate ultrasound equipment, taking high-quality images for radiologists and physicians to interpret
- Process images, maintaining accurate and detailed records
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of recent experience as an ultrasonographer
- ARDMS Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
