The position of an echo ultrasonographer involves using echocardiograms to take images of patients' hearts. As an allied health professional in a hospital, outpatient center, private practice, imaging center or other healthcare facility, responsibilities will include preparing patients for echocardiograms, operating equipment, processing images for radiologists and physicians, and handling patient records.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of recent experience in the relevant setting and specialty
- ARMDS or CCI National Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
