We are currently seeking a Lab Assistant with Hospital Experience to work within one of our Highly Reputable Hospitals (Kaiser) located in the San Marcos, CA area. Lab Assistant I Requirements:
MUST have at least 1 Year of Hospital Experience as a Lab Assistant
Accessions, labels, sorts, processes, centrifuges, aliquots, prepares, plates, transports, and stores specimens
Prepares specimen for testing. Process specimens to include receiving, sorting, matching, prioritizing, batching,
creating wordlists/worksheet, includes data entry and send-out
Keeps work area neat, clean and well stocked
Prepares, labels, stores reagents, stains and culture media
Reads and transcribes digital temperature, humidity, weights, etc. and alerts a CLS for any suspicious outlier.
