Contract Opportunity for Family Medicine Physician
About the Position
Cross Country Locums is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine physician to fill a contract position in South Dakota. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience within the past 36 months and will be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and proof of current immunizations status are also required.
You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical and minor surgical illnesses. Follow-up visits and obtaining consultations for complex patients are also essential aspects of this role.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the past 36 months
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proof of current immunizations status and a current PPD within the past year
- A valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine
