The selected physician will work varied shifts, covering all hours of operation. We are seeking one physician to cover each shift, providing comprehensive emergency services to our community.
Admission Process
In this role, the ER physician will handle admissions on their own, but may consult with hospitalists or other specialists as needed. The majority of patients requiring admission are transferred due to limited inpatient services, presenting an excellent opportunity for the physician to develop strong communication skills with colleagues from other specialties.
Specialty Support
The medical facility has established relationships with several local hospitals, ensuring that specialty support is readily available via phone consultation. This includes access to cardiology, OB, neurology, orthopedics, renal medicine, surgery, and infectious disease specialists.
