What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practice position at Cross Country Locums?
- Work Schedule:
- Primary Clinic: 1 weekly late shift from 11:30am-8pm, either Monday or Thursday
- Rest of the week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday from 9am-5:30pm
- Scope of Work:
- Provide consultation, diagnosis, and treatment services
- Prenatal care for pregnant women, post-natal care for mothers and infants
- Emphasize health promotion by advising patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention methods
- Requirements:
- Board certification (BC) or Board eligibility (BE)
- Active California medical license
- DEA registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Covid-19 vaccination
- Technical Requirements:
- Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, specifically NextGen
- Privileging process typically takes 3-4 weeks
