Cross Country Locums is seeking a BC / BE Nephrologist for a locums assignment in beautiful Northern Michigan. Travel, lodging, and malpractice are being offered for this role in addition to hourly pay. ASAP - Ongoing 7 days of hospital service 2 weeks clinic 8a-5p. Beeper call Inpatient and outpatient Scope of Work : No admits, hospitalist do that There can be a week off in between if not available for 3 weeks concurrent. Call is consultative ONLY. When on hospital service 14-16 patients per day. Clinic is 12-14 patients per day. The nephrology service is consultative only and does not admit primarily. Rounds are from 8 am to 5 pm with hospitalists taking first call after 5 pm with nephrologist available for backup. Active MI license, ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, Fellowship preferred.
