What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Locum Tenens position at Cross Country Locums?
What type of patients is the provider seeing? Gynecology oncology patients
- What are the daily job duties and scope of work? APP will see the patient and do the H & P, place orders, and follow-up labs, phone calls, etc. Will also respond to emergencies in the infusion center as needed
- Average patient census per hour? Varies; There are 3 attendings and they all see different volumes. Clinic is 8 am to 12 pm and 1pm to 5pm with the patients seen as noted above. Typical patient load could be 10-20 per day and often times more like 8-14.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements : Active CT license; BC; PA accreditation or the APRN must hold certification as either an ACNP, FNP, or AGACNP. Oncology certification would be preferable. 2 years exp GYN / ONC preferred.
