What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Locum Tenens position at Cross Country Locums?
- What type of patients is the provider seeing? Gynecology oncology patients
- What are the daily job duties and scope of work? APP will see the patient and do the H & P, place orders, and follow-up labs, phone calls, etc. Will also respond to emergencies in the infusion center as needed
- Average patient census per hour? Varies; There are 3 attendings and they all see different volumes. Clinic is 8 am to 12 pm and 1pm to 5pm with the patients seen as noted above. Typical patient load could be 10-20 per day and often times more like 8-14.
- Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Active CT license; BC; PA accreditation or the APRN must hold certification as either an ACNP, FNP, or AGACNP. Oncology certification would be preferable. 2 years exp GYN/ONC preferred.
- EMR: EPIC
