**Job Description**
Cross Country Locums is seeking a skilled Primary Care physician for a contract position in South Dakota. The ideal candidate will have the ability to provide timely medical care and treatment, as well as possess excellent communication skills.
Scope of Work:
- The physician will be responsible for diagnosing and treating medical and minor surgical illnesses in an urgent care setting.
- The work schedule will typically be 8-10 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with occasional additional hours required.
Additional Information:
- The contract physician must be board certified or eligible in Family Medicine/General Medicine, with a minimum of 2 years of experience within the past 36 months.
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
- The physician must meet all credentialing and background investigation requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine/General Medicine.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Family Medicine/General Medicine within the past 36 months.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proof of current immunizations and a current PPD within the past year.
