Cross Country Nurses seeks an experienced travel nurse for a Labor and Delivery position. In this role, you will provide critical care to pregnant women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages of childbirth.
About the Role:
This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week. The shift pattern will be 12 hours, nights. You will need to have at least 1 year of recent acute care experience in Labor and Delivery. A valid active RN license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coaching women throughout the birthing process* Monitoring the mother's and baby's vitals* Administering medication and managing potential complications* Providing education and guidance to new mothers on caring for their infants* Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
