What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional VP of Nursing position at Cross Healthcare Management?
The Regional VP of Nursing joins two other regional VPs of nursing within Cross Healthcare! Cross Healthcare supports nursing homes throughoug the state of Texas and continues to grow and expand. We are excited to find the next right partner to join our team. This is a senior leadership role within Cross Helathcare and the candidate must be an RN.
The ideal candidate has spent time as a Director of Nursing for a few years in a nursing home. This experience is vital to be able to support, train, and work with other directors. The candidate must be willing to do some travel within Texas.
The position will require supporting 2-5 facilities and their clinical needs. Onsite training is provided. Auditing in PCC, supporting the facility and developing new leaders. This role is important to ensure clinical compliance, reduce RTAs, improve clinical capabilities, and assist through state investigation activity. Some job duties include :
- Auditing clinical systems and assisting with correcting opportunities for improvement.
- Training new director of nurses in facilities.
- Review policies and procedures.
- Integrate with therapy, administration, MDS and other departments for the success of the facilities you support.
- Complete mock surveys and assist with survey readiness and management.
- Lead out with updates in regulatory requirements.
- Assist with nursing budgets and appropriate staffing levels.
