Direct Care Staff
At Christian Residential and Social Services (CROSS), we provide 24/7 residential care to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We strive to provide a personal care home that encourages independence, as well as provide spiritual and emotional support for the people we serve.
We are currently seeking part-time and/or full-time direct care staff at Grace Home, a personal care home in Shippensburg, PA. Our direct care workers have the incredible opportunity to “do life” with our residents. We currently have 6 residents.
Direct Care Staff:
Our main work is caring for our are for our amazing residents - food prep, transportation, attending social events with the group, weekend outings, bringing joy to their lives and providing a high level of care and support.
Provide emotional, behavioral, physical and spiritual support
Receive certification and training in medication administration, First Aid, CPR
Accurately document medication and communicate with the care team.
Pay starts at $15.75 per hour
With opportunity to pick up other shifts and overnights!
Flexible time off
Experience and Requirements:
-No prior experience needed, just a heart to serve.
-Must be 18 years of age or older
-High school diploma
- Valid License
- Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
The current shifts open:
Monday 1:30-9pm or 9:30pm
Tuesday 1:30pm-9:30pm
Thursday 1:30pm-9:30pm
Friday 2pm- 9 or 9:30pm
Saturdays 7am-3pm and 3pm-9:30pm
Sunday we have 7am-3pm and 3pm-9:30pm
We also have shorter AM shifts from 5:30am-9am
