Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking a dedicated leader to support the Housekeeping and Laundry team within the Mission Point Health Care Center. This opening is for a full-time position. Hours may vary, however will be primarily be day and evening shifts. Weekend and holiday rotation will be required.

In our Health Care Center, more commonly referred to as Mission Point, you will find our outstanding nursing team assisting residents in five distinct neighborhoods – specializing in long-term care, memory care and short-term rehab.

Job Description:
As the Lead Housekeeper your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Providing assistance to the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry in maintaining a high-quality standard of housekeeping and laundry services.
• Monitoring and prioritizing work orders.
• Continuously checking assigned areas to be sure work is being completed and team members are following schedules.
• Observing cleaning needs and submitting written project requests to the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry Services.
• Assisting the housekeeping and laundry team with job tasks as needed.
• Assisting the Director with scheduling and assists with projects as needed.
• Distributing and maintaining sufficient supply of housekeeping supplies and chemicals. Keeping track of par levels and placing orders with the purchasing department.
• Assisting the Director with audits and evaluations.
• Assume responsibility of the Director in their absence.
• Assuring compliance of policies and procedures.
• Promoting a service-minded attitude and feeling of a job well done.
• Help to maintain a clean, orderly, sanitary, comfortable and safe environment for all.
• Assisting with the operations of housekeeping and laundry programs as needed.
• Assisting in other areas on campus with housekeeping tasks as needed

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry best management practices, equipment, and materials.
• 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping and/or laundry or related field is strongly desired.
• Must have the ability to work with others in a professional manner.
• Attend continuing educations sessions as required by State or Federal regulations.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Knowledge of Word and Excel programs is required.
