Direct Support Professional

Cross Plains Community Partner, Inc. is a nonprofit agency dedicated to empowering adults with developmental disabilities. Our mission is to foster an inclusive community where all individuals have the opportunity for choice, leadership, and employment.

We are currently seeking a compassionate Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals in developing and maintaining meaningful connections within the community and at our center. The ideal candidate will be patient, dependable, and passionate about helping others thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to individuals in daily living activities, volunteering, and community engagement.
• Encourage skill-building and personal growth through meaningful experiences.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment while providing transportation as needed.
• Demonstrate attentiveness to individual needs, ensuring a person-centered approach.
• Maintain professional communication and an understanding of all work-related duties.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid GA Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others.

Schedule & Benefits:

• Pay: $14.00 per hour
• Hours: Up to 24 hours per week, Monday-Friday (Day Shift)
